We are getting older and older, so it is vital to be mentally and physically fit even in old age. Physical inactivity is a decisive risk factor in the development of dementia.

Studies from the University of Pittsburgh have shown that walking a mile a day can reduce your risk of developing Alzheimer’s by 50%. If walking is supplemented by age-appropriate light training twice a week, the risk can be further reduced. (Isn’t that great news..)

Even if you have already been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, the shock is undoubtedly great.

That does not mean that you can still be active and continue to shape your life in a positive and varied way. (…and do something actively for your betterment)

On the contrary, the earlier you start, the better. However, it’s never too late. We learned movement as children. So it is a primary fundamental skill that our mind and body gladly like to remember even in older ages.

I will accompany you sensitively and individually adapted to your personal life situation, to maintain these movements and strengths and build them up again.

FIT. by Stefanie stands for Functional Individual Training of these skills

My top priority is that you can safely and independently enjoy your personal lifestyle better and longer on your own.

These include, among other things:
– Strengthening the muscles
– Flexibility for more mobility and gait safety
– Improvement of the mental-motor coordination and thus also positive feedback and strengthening of newly formed brain cells
– Increase in the ability to react and thus more security of life and movement

With the help of your training’s individual conception, I will help you and your relatives recognize and learn how to enjoy life actively and independently for longer, physically and mentally.
